Did you know that purple cauliflower is even more nutritious than regular cauliflower offering higher amounts of antioxidants that protect your cells from free radicals?

It is widely understood that eating a diet rich in fruits and vegetables as part of an overall healthy diet can help protect against a number of serious and costly chronic diseases, including heart disease, type-2 diabetes, cancer and obesity.

WHAT IS SFMNP?

The Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) is a USDA-sponsored program administered by the Ohio Agency on Aging. The program is designed to increase consumption of fresh, nutritious, unprepared, locally-grown fruits, vegetables, herbs, and honey by Ohio Seniors, through support of farmers’ markets and roadside stands.
