SNAP/EBT ACCEPTED at the Athens Farmers Market! Come to the bright turquoise Customer Service tent and purchase SNAP tokens to use for eligible products throughout the Market. All customers qualify for the Produce Perks program.

Produce Perks is Ohio's nutrition incentive program. It empowers SNAP recipients to purchase MORE fresh, healthy fruits and vegetables from Ohio farmers markets across the state. It provides a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $25, per Market day.

No Worries! The Athens Farmers Market accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Stop by the bright turquoise Customer Service tent to purchase ‘Market Bucks” with your credit or debit card. Market Bucks act as cash throughout the Market and can be purchased for any dollar amount.

Market Bucks are also a nice way to give the gift of fresh fruits, vegetables, and local foods to someone you know.

The Market Buck program also supports Community Food Initiatives and their efforts to foster communities where everyone has equal access to healthy, local food by giving customers the opportunity to donate to the Donation Station.
